Day 1: Arrival, pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You will be welcomed and picked by our safari guide who will meet and brief you about this 5-day Lake Mburo, Bwindi gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi safari. You will be driven to Lake Mburo National Park passing small towns along Kampala-Mbarara Road with an opportunity to stop at the Equator crossing for photography and some experiments to prove that indeed this is center of planet earth. We shall then proceed with our journey with an en-route lunch in Mbarara city, finally arrival in the park and check in at Mburo safari lodge relax for the rest of the day with a dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2: Morning game drive & Boat cruise

After your early morning breakfast, we shall embark on the morning game drive and this shall grant you a clear opportunity to view wild animals such as zebras, impalas, buffaloes, warthogs, buffaloes and other animals. Return to the lodge for lunch and later after your lunch, embark on a 2 hours boat excursion. Lake Mburo boat cruise is an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, water bird such as the African fish eagle and the rare African fin foot. After that amazing boat cruise, you will then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mburo safari lodge.
Day 3: Cycling and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP

After your morning breakfast, we shall go for cycling around the park as you enjoy viewing more wild animals like the topi, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, impalas among others. Return to the lodge for lunch, check out and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in order to prepare for the next day gorilla trekking adventure. Check in at Buhoma community haven lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After enjoying your breakfast and packing your lunch, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. Your guide will explain the essential guidelines to follow while interacting with the mountain gorillas. Following the briefing, you will be transported to the starting point for your designated gorilla family. Gorilla trekking can be physically demanding, so a reasonable level of fitness is necessary. The trek can last anywhere from 30 minutes to three-quarters of a day, so it’s important to be prepared for both scenarios. Throughout the journey, your guide will share insights about the trees, birds, and other wildlife you encounter until you reach the specific gorilla family. Once there, you will have one hour to photograph and observe the mountain gorillas as they engage in their daily activities. Proceed to Lake Bunyonyi and finally check in at Lake Bunyonyi eco resort, you can opt for a tour around the lake. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala

After breakfast, you will drive back to Entebbe International Airport with a lunch stop in Mbarara city. Proceed to Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
