Itinerary
Upon your arrival, the company driver guide will warmly welcome you and drive you to the hotel with in Kampala and you will have a chance to enjoy a night out with in Kampala, you can as well opt for a short city tour depending on your time of arrival, have a rest at Cassia lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
Have breakfast at the lodge and after the guide will brief you fully about the safari and after you will start your drive to Kibale National Park and have numerous stop overs for some photos and experiments. You will have lunch er-route and then proceed to the park where you will have dinner and overnight stay at Kibale forest camp.
Have breakfast and head for Bigodi community walk, the Bigodi Wetland is home to a diverse array of biodiversity, including several primate species such as black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and baboons. It is also a paradise for bird watchers. After exploring Bigodi Wetlands (or Kibale Forest), Later you will your lunch at the park restaurant and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and relax on arrival, dinner and overnight stay at Baboon safari resort.
You will have your morning breakfast and after embark on the morning game drive in the northern part of the park on the Kasenyi Track in search of lions, elephants, solitary buffaloes. This is the best time for opportunities of viewing the cats in action owing to the vast population of Uganda Kobs. We have an excellent chance to view just about every animal here at very close range. Return to the lodge for your lunch and after embark on the afternoon launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. This gives you the opportunity to view wildlife up close: hippo’s huff and spray at a mere foot away from the boat, buffalo linger in the shallows. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many others. Later we shall proceed with our journey to towards Bwindi Impenetrable national park and finally check in at Bahoma community haven lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
Start your day with an early breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking in Bwindi, including guidelines and your packed lunch. Rangers will guide you into the dense rainforest to begin your search for the gentle giants. Be prepared for unpredictable weather with raincoats and boots. Porters are available to carry your luggage for a small fee. Gorilla tracking can last from 2 to 7 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla families, and physical fitness is recommended. After your trek, travel to Lake Mburo National Park and check in at Mburo Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early in the morning after your delicious breakfast, we shall embark on the morning game drive and this will grant you a chance to view wild animals such as zebras, elands, buffaloes, leopards, topi, warthogs, hyenas and jackals together with different bird species. Return to the lodge for your lunch and in the afternoon go for a 2 hours boat cruise on Lake Mburo enjoy viewing water mammals such hippos and crocodiles. Return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight stay at Mburo safari lodges.
Have breakfast and you will be transferred to Entebbe with en-route at the Kayabwe equator for refreshment, photography with an experiment showing the northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere. Later have your lunch and finally arriving in the evening, the guide will either drop you at the airport or at your hotel depending on your departure time.
