You will have a stopover for lunch and arrival in the evening checking in at Kidepo savannah lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a morning game drive in the park. The Kidepo landscape offers the finest game drive experiences in Uganda. Within minutes of starting the drive, you’ll begin to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, warthogs, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, duikers, giraffes, antelopes, and more. As you explore, you’ll also be treated to the stunning scenery of Kidepo, with its domed mountains creating a picturesque backdrop. After the drive, return to the lodge for lunch. In the evening, visit the Karamojong community, known for their warm hospitality despite their once fierce reputation. Here, you can savor local delicacies and enjoy traditional performances. This community is an essential part of any Kidepo safari. Dinner and overnight stay at Kidepo savannah lodge.
Begin your day with an early breakfast before departing for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most visited park. This park is home to the “big four” animals: lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. The journey to the park is an adventure in itself, offering stunning views of the lush green and brown countryside, dotted with occasional homesteads. En route, you’ll stop at the Aruu Falls to enjoy the scenic beauty of these magnificent waterfalls; you can even take a swim if you wish. Afterward, you’ll have lunch before continuing to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at Sambiya River Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, ready to explore the park the next day.
