Overview
Queen Elizabeth national park is situated in the district of kasese and Rubirizi to the boarder of Congo. It was gazette in 1952 as a national park formerly known as kazinga national park but later after the Queen Elizabeth 2nd after her visit to the park. It is the second largest protected areas and second to be gazette same year with Murchison’s falls.
